Hourglass
A downloadable game for Windows
Hourglass was a physical installation inspired by TV shows (it involves the audience) made during the Angouniarof 2025, while still playable by downloading the build it won't fully replicate the original experience.
Hourglass is a turn based bluff game for two players. At the starts players both see on a screen a colored hourglass, one half is blue, the other red. The goal is to, at the end of a round, have the player matching color on top of the hourglass (a round is 3 turn per players). On their turn players secretly choose to turn or not the hourglass, announcing their action (of course they can lie). The state of the hourglass is not visible until the end of the round so you have to remember and interpret your opponent inputs.
At the end of the round the Hourglass is visible to all players to see the results, the player with his color on top win the round and mark one point, first player at 3 points win the game.
Also, during the match, the public has access to a screen allowing them to see the current state of the hourglass at any time, they can communicate with the players about it, but they can lie too !
